Free trial
Kera doesn't offer a time-limited free trial. Workaround: create an account and explore without paying; landlord activation shows "30-day money-back guarantee, no questions asked. Cancel anytime." on the price card.
Change account type after onboarding
Kera doesn't let a Landlord account become an Organization (or the reverse), and doesn't move a landlord's data into an organization. Workaround: contact Kera support (support@getkera.com).
Create a second organization from an existing login
Kera only creates an organization when "Property Manager" is chosen during onboarding. Workaround: be invited to the other organization, or contact Kera support.
Join an organization with an email that already has a Kera account
The Join the team link creates a new login; an existing login with the same email can't use it to join. Workaround: contact Kera support (support@getkera.com).
Sign up as an Owner on your own
The account type screen has no Owner option. Owners get access only from an owner invitation or by matching an owner record.
Tenant connects to a landlord without the landlord
A self-signed-up tenant can't find or request to join a landlord or lease. Workaround: ask the landlord to add you to the lease with your email address.
Accept a new-tenant lease invitation with Google or Facebook
The lease sign-up form hides those buttons. Workaround: create the account with email and password, or sign up with Google first and then use the lease's sign-in link.
Two-factor authentication (2FA), single sign-on (SAML/SSO), Apple, Microsoft or phone sign-in
Kera supports email and password, Google and Facebook only.
Sign out of all devices
Kera has no button for it. Logging out signs out the current browser only. Restoring a changed sign-in email is the only flow that signs out every session.
Merge two Kera logins
Each email is a separate login and Kera can't combine them. Workaround: contact Kera support.
Delete your account in the app
There's no in-app delete. Workaround: email support@getkera.com (as the Profile page says).
Check whether an email has a Kera account
The password reset page shows the same message either way, on purpose. Support shouldn't use it to confirm accounts.
Change the reset or verification link lifetime
Reset links expire after 1 hour and email-restore links after 3 days. Kera sends at most one account email a minute and five an hour per address.
Import more than 20 files or 500 addresses at once during onboarding
Workaround: run another import afterwards from the import page, or add the rest by hand.
Keep an unapplied import forever
Imports that aren't applied expire after 30 days and their data is removed.
Partner referral connect page
Kera doesn't offer a working partner link that walks a new landlord through connecting Stripe or Plaid. Workaround: connect payouts from the setup hub or Wallet, and banks from the accounting setup or Settings → Accounting.
Use Kera in French or another language
The app is English only.
Save the light/dark choice to your account
Appearance is saved per browser.
