Delete my account myself
Kera doesn't have a delete-account button. Workaround: email support@getkera.com.
Merge two Kera accounts or reuse an email already on another account
Kera doesn't merge accounts and blocks an email already used ("That email is already used by another Kera account."). Workaround: contact Kera support.
Convert a landlord account into an organization, or add team members to a landlord account
Kera doesn't do this in the app. Workaround: contact Kera support.
Invite team members without an organization plan
Kera requires an active Enterprise (per-seat) plan to invite members. Workaround: subscribe under Billing.
Subscribe to a landlord plan above 50 units
Kera's landlord tiers stop at Scale (26–50 units). Workaround: contact Kera support about an organization plan.
Start a free trial from the app
Kera's checkout doesn't add a trial period. Workaround: promotion codes can be entered at checkout; contact Kera support about trials.
View or download Kera subscription invoices inside Kera
Kera doesn't list them in the app. Workaround: Billing → Manage plan opens Stripe's portal with invoice history.
Lower seats below the number of active members, or have seats drop automatically when someone is removed
Kera doesn't do either. Workaround: remove members, then lower seats under Billing → Manage seats.
Remove the last admin, or demote them
Kera always keeps at least one admin. Workaround: make someone else an Admin first.
Undo removing a team member
Kera removes the member immediately with no undo. Workaround: invite them again (a seat may be needed).
Give staff the Tenant or Owner role
Kera doesn't offer those roles in the Members invite; they are for portal users. Workaround: invite tenants from a lease and owners from the owner record.
Restrict a member to specific properties without a role that has "View Assigned Properties Only"
Access limits come from roles. Workaround: use the Property Manager template or tick View Assigned Properties Only, then assign properties.
Tag leases, tenants, owners, vendors, documents or tasks
Kera only supports property tags. Workaround: none in the app.
Set lease defaults for a province other than Ontario, or keep my own lease templates in Settings
Kera only keeps defaults for the Ontario Standard Lease. Workaround: upload your own lease document when creating a lease (see the Leases chapter).
Write data back to QuickBooks, or import QuickBooks data into Kera's books
The QuickBooks connection is read-only. Workaround: use the AI import (Migrate data) with QuickBooks exports to bring data into Kera.
Send documents for signature through DocuSign
Kera's DocuSign connection only brings in signed envelopes. Workaround: use Kera's own e-signature.
Connect other services (Xero, Zapier, Google Drive, Slack, listing sites and so on)
Kera only integrates with QuickBooks, DocuSign, Google Calendar and Outlook Calendar. Workaround: none.
Two-way calendar sync, or sync a calendar for tenants and owners
Calendar sync is one-way from Kera, and only for landlords and organization users. Workaround: none.
Sync calendar events further than 45 days out
The sync window is 15, 30 or 45 days. Workaround: none; later tasks sync as they enter the window.
Report a bug or request a feature from a form in the app
Those Support cards are disabled. Workaround: Start a chat or email support@getkera.com.
Upload more than 10 knowledge base documents or more than 50,000 characters of context
Kera caps both. Workaround: combine and trim content; put key facts in the text box.
Import more than 20 files or 500 pasted addresses in one import, or import Word or plain-text files
Kera's import accepts PDF, CSV, XLS, XLSX, XLSM and photos only. Workaround: split into several imports; export Word documents as PDF.
Turn off email for owner statements or bank setup requests
These owner emails are managed by the property manager. Workaround: none for the owner.
Get in-app notifications without a Kera account
Tenants and owners without an account get email only. Workaround: invite them to their portal.
Product update emails for non-admin organization members
Kera sends them only to landlords, organization admins, and tenants and owners who opt in. Workaround: none.
US bank-account (ACH) rent payments
Kera doesn't support ACH; pre-authorized debit works with Canadian bank accounts. Workaround: US tenants pay by card.
Owner bank transfer (EFT) payouts set up from the owner's Wallet
Kera doesn't offer EFT bank-transfer payouts to owners; owner payouts go through the Stripe account in Wallet. Workaround: none.
Run accounting migrations or data backfills myself
These are Kera staff operations. Workaround: contact Kera support.
