Any user with an email-and-password login.
Where to find it
Sign-in page → Forgot password?
Steps
- On the sign-in page, type your email, then click Forgot password?. The Forgot your password? page opens with the email filled in.
- Check the Email and click Send reset link.
- The page changes to Check your email. Open the "Reset your Kera password" email and click Reset password.
What happens next
The link opens the Reset your password screen (see the next article). The link expires in 1 hour. Back to sign in returns to the sign-in page.
Good to know
Click Resend link if the email doesn't arrive. Kera sends at most one email a minute and five an hour to the same address, so clicking again quickly doesn't send more.
Limits
For privacy, the page says "If an account exists for that email, we sent a link..." whether or not the email has an account. It can't be used to check whether someone has a Kera account.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't send reset link": try again in a minute. Check the spam folder before asking for another link.
