How do I edit my organization's details and business address?

Who can do this

Organization users whose role has Edit User Roles (users:edit); by default only Admin.

Where to find it

Settings → Organization.

Steps

  1. Open Settings → Organization ("Your organization's details and business address.").
  2. Edit Organization Name, Website (optional) and Organization Email (optional; "Notifications are sent to this email").
  3. Under Business address ("Used to calculate sales tax (GST/HST) on your accounting."), enter the street address, then City, Province, Postal Code and Country.
  4. Click Save changes.

What happens next

The toast Organization updated appears. The new name shows in the account menu's organization list.

Good to know

Landlord accounts have no Organization tab; a landlord's address for service is on Profile.

Troubleshooting

Organization name is required; Province is required to calculate sales tax; Enter a valid email (Organization Email). Couldn't save organization details: nothing was saved; try again. No organization found.: the account isn't in an organization, or it didn't load; reload and try again.
