How do I add a tenant and invite them to the tenant portal?

Who can do this
Landlord, Organization admin, members with Create Tenants.
Where to find it
Tenants → Invite Tenant.
Steps
- Enter the names and a valid email.
- At Invite them to the tenant portal?, choose Invite them ("They can see their lease and pay online"). The summary reads "Yes, an invite goes out when you save".
- Click Add tenant.
What happens next
The toast Tenant added and invited ("We emailed <email> a link to join the tenant portal.") appears, and the tenant becomes Invited. The tenant gets <your name or organization name> invited you to Kera, with an Accept invite button and three steps: Create your account, Review and accept your lease, Set up rent payments. Tenant sign-up is covered in the accounts chapter.
Good to know
The invite question appears only once a valid email is entered. If you change the email after answering, the step is marked Check this and must be confirmed again.
Troubleshooting
Couldn't send invitation means the tenant was saved but the email failed. Use Invite <name> to Kera on their page. Invitation sent, but its status wasn't saved means the email went out but the status may still read Not invited.
