When does Kera email me about a new chat message?

Steps

  1. When someone messages you, you get a bell entry "New message" ("<sender>: <text>") and the email "[Action Required] New message on Kera" with See message.
  2. Clicking the bell entry opens that conversation.

Good to know

Kera sends at most one new-message notification per sender every 15 minutes, so a burst of messages gives one alert. Turn email or in-app off in Settings → Notifications → Messages. For an organization, the email goes to the conversation's assignee if set.
