As a manager, how do I start a conversation?

Who can do this

Landlords and Organization users with Send Messages.

Where to find it

Inbox → New message (+).

Steps

  1. The New Message panel opens with Direct Message selected. Search with "Search people…".
  2. Pick someone under Team (Organizations only), Tenants or Owners. Use Load more for long lists.
  3. Type your message ("Type a message...") and press Enter. Shift+Enter starts a new line.

What happens next

The conversation opens and the person is notified.

Good to know

"No people found" when nothing matches the search.

Limits

You can only message tenants and owners who have a Kera account. A record-only tenant with no email or account doesn't appear; contact them outside Kera. Kera has no SMS or vendor chat in the Inbox.
