How do I send a held deposit to the owner?

Who can do this

Organization admin (and members with Create Transactions), on a property with an active owner contract.

Where to find it

Lease page → Actions → Deposit → Send to owner.

Steps

  1. Click Send to owner and read "Send the deposit to the owner".
  2. Click Send to owner.

What happens next

Toast "Deposit sent to the owner" ("Pay it out to them with an owner disbursement."). The deposit becomes "Held by owner" and the owner's payable rises by the amount. Pay it with an owner disbursement (chapter 10). Kera keeps tracking the deposit's interest and return deadline.

Limits

Not shown to solo Landlords, on properties without an owner contract, or when the deposit is pending, already owner-held, returned, applied or already set to settle the final month.
