How do I know when tenants have accepted a lease?

Landlord, Organization admin, Organization members who manage the property.

Steps

When the first of several tenants accepts, the status becomes Partially accepted and you get an in-app notification and email "Tenant accepted the lease" ("<name> accepted. 1 of 2 tenants have accepted.").
When the last tenant accepts, the status becomes Active and you get "All tenants have accepted", with a line about payments: either online payments are set up, or the payer hasn't finished setting up their payment method.

What happens next

On an online-payments lease, Kera creates the billing and the paying tenant sees Set up payments. Edit now shows the unit, term, rent and payments as In force. The tenant side of acceptance is in the Tenant portal chapter.

Limits

A lease isn't Active until every invited tenant accepts. Kera doesn't let you accept on a tenant's behalf. For a tenant who won't use Kera, turn their invite off (or keep the lease record-only).
