How do I find a lease?

ForLandlordsProperty managers

Who can do this

Landlord, Organization admin, Organization members with View Leases. Tenants and Owners have their own Leases pages in their portals (see the Tenant portal and Owner portal chapters).

Where to find it

Side nav → Leases.

Steps

  1. Open Leases. The page is titled Leases, with Add lease and Filters at the top.
  2. Each row shows the property name, the status badge, any continuation badge, an Archived badge if archived, the date range, tenant avatars with a name summary (one name, "A & B", or "A & roommates"), and the monthly rent with Per month.
  3. Click a row to open the lease page.

Good to know

  • First time, with no active leases: the page shows "Know every lease at a glance" with Add your first lease and, where your plan allows imports, Import existing leases (opens Settings on the migration tab; see the Settings and data import chapter).
  • While Kera checks your plan, Add lease and Add your first lease show a loading state and can't be clicked.
  • On a phone, a floating quick-action button offers Add Lease.
  • You can also find a lease with global search (⌘K), by property address or tenant name.
