How do I invoice the property owner with a management fee?

Organization users who can create invoices.

Where to find it

Add transaction → Invoice → Who are you billing? → Invoice to → The property owner.

Steps

  1. Choose The property owner ("Bill a property's owner, with your management fee").
  2. Pick the Property; Kera fills Customer Name and Customer Email from the owner contract. If there are several contracts, pick the Owner.
  3. What is it for?: the category.
  4. Add the lines.
  5. Do you charge a fee for managing this?: No fee, Contract fee or Custom fee. The fee is "Added to the invoice as its own line, with its own GST/HST."
  6. Finish and send.

What happens next

The invoice, its email and its online version carry a Management fee line with its own tax. The fee is booked to your management fee revenue.

"This property has no owner contract, so there's no owner to invoice. Pick another property or invoice a customer."; "Select the property whose owner you invoice".
