How do I let a customer pay an invoice online?

Who can do this

Landlord; Organization users who can send invoices, with the Wallet set up (chapter 10).

Where to find it

Add transaction → Invoice → How can they pay?.

Steps

  1. Turn on Accept online payments ("Add a secure card payment link to the invoice.").
  2. Read the disclosure: card payments include Stripe's standard processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30, deducted from what you receive; Kera adds no fee of its own.
  3. Click Send Invoice.

What happens next

The email includes a pay link. The row's ⋮ menu offers Copy Payment Link ("Payment link copied") and Download PDF. When the customer pays, within about a minute the badge turns Paid, you're notified, and the income appears on Overview and in the Wallet.

Troubleshooting

The toggle is disabled with "Set up your wallet to let customers pay online.": finish Wallet setup first.

Limits

Online invoice payment is by card.
