How do I correct what a tenant owes?

Who can do this
Landlord; Organization users with Create Transactions.
Where to find it
Lease page → Rent tab → ⋮ "Rent actions" → Correct balance
Steps
- Open Correct balance ("Enter what the tenant owes you today. Kera works out which months are unpaid, newest first.").
- Enter Owing today. The months from before Kera update as you type.
- Change individual months if needed.
- Select Save.
What happens next
Toast Balance corrected ("The tenant owes $X today."). Only the difference posts, dated today. Anything owed from before the first month goes in a "Balance before <month>" row.
Limits
You can't enter less than what's owing on months charged in Kera: "The tenant already owes $X on months charged in Kera. Enter at least that, or record those payments first."
Troubleshooting
Today in a closed accounting period: tick Record it in a closed accounting period (needs Approve & Post Transactions). Not shown when no months have been charged, the schedule is removed, the lease is archived or the role lacks Create Transactions.
