Who can work with applications, screening and tenants?

ForProperty managers

Who can do this

Applies to Organization accounts. A Landlord (solo) account can do everything in this chapter.

Where to find it

Organization: Settings → Roles & Permissions.

Steps

  1. The permissions that matter here are View Applications, Process Applications, Delete Applications, View Screening Results, Request Screening, View Tenants, Create Tenants, Edit Tenants and Remove Tenants.
  2. Admin has all of them.
  3. Employee (the default member role) has every tenant permission, plus View Applications, Process Applications, View Screening Results and Request Screening. Employees don't have Delete Applications, so they can't use Reject application or Delete on an application. They can still pick Rejected from the status dropdown and archive a finished application.
  4. Guest can view tenants and applications only. On an application, a Guest sees No actions available.
  5. A member limited to View Assigned Properties Only sees, screens and acts on applications only for their assigned properties. Kera treats applications on other properties as not found.

Good to know

Custom roles can mix these permissions. Without View Screening Results, the Screening tab is hidden. Without Request Screening, every Request Screening button is hidden. Without View Accounting, the tenant Payments tab is hidden. Without View Documents, the tenant Documents tab is hidden.
