What happens after an applicant submits?

Who can do this

Applicant (public) and the manager.

Where to find it

The public form, then the manager's Applications list.

Steps

  1. The applicant sees Application submitted: "Your application has been submitted. We've emailed you a confirmation, and the property manager will be in touch if they'd like to move forward." A Close tab button follows.
  2. The applicant gets the email We received your application.
  3. The manager, plus anyone set up to be copied on that property's notifications, gets the email New rental application: <name> and an in-app New rental application notification.
  4. The application shows under Applications as Pending.

What happens next

The applicant can't edit or withdraw what they submitted. If they need to change something, they contact you directly.

Limits

Kera doesn't reply to the applicant again unless you order a screening. Status changes and rejections send nothing. Contact the applicant from your own email or phone.
