What do Not invited, Invited and Active mean on a tenant?

The status pill on the tenant's page, and Filters → Tenant status on the Tenants list.

Steps

  1. Not invited: Kera has a record of this person, but no portal invite has been sent. This includes record-only occupants with no email.
  2. Invited: an invite email went out, and the person hasn't created their Kera account yet.
  3. Active: the tenant has a Kera account linked to this record.

What happens next

The tenant status is about the portal account only. A tenant can be Not invited and still be on a record-only lease. An Active tenant hasn't necessarily accepted a lease yet. Check the lease's own status (Chapter 05).
