What do the application statuses mean?

ForLandlordsProperty managers

Who can do this

Anyone who can see Applications.

Where to find it

The status badge on each Applications row and on the application's header.

Steps

  1. Pending: new, not yet reviewed. Every new submission starts here.
  2. Shortlisted: you're interested.
  3. Interview: you're talking to or meeting the applicant.
  4. Schedule showing: a viewing is being arranged.
  5. Offer: you've offered the unit (set by Make an offer). It is a workflow status, not a signed lease.
  6. Screening: Kera sets this once a screening order is placed with The Great Renter. You can also pick it by hand.
  7. Accepted: set only by Accept application. You can't pick it from the dropdown.
  8. Rejected: set by Reject application or by picking Rejected in the dropdown.

What happens next

Statuses are for your own tracking. Kera doesn't email the applicant when the status changes, including on rejection.

Limits

Kera has no custom statuses. The applicant can't see their status. They have no account and no applicant portal.
