What can I start from a property's Actions card?

ForLandlordsProperty managers

Who can do this

Depends on the action; each one checks its own permission.

Where to find it

Property → Actions card (on a phone, the floating Actions button).

Steps

The card only lists what applies right now:

  1. Start inspection: opens a new inspection with the property filled in (for a building, a common-area inspection not tied to a unit). Needs Create Inspections. See the Inspections chapter.
  2. Add lease (single-unit, no lease yet): opens the lease flow with the property filled in. Needs Create Leases. See the Leases chapter.
  3. Add tenants (single-unit, lease with nobody on it): opens Add tenant. See the Tenants chapter.
  4. Add owners (organizations, no owners yet): see "How do I link an owner to a property?".
  5. Add preferred vendors (no preferred vendors yet): see "How do I set a property's preferred vendors?".
  6. Add contract details (organizations, no contract yet, needs Edit Properties): see "How do I add or change a property's contract details?".
  7. Add document: see "How do I add a document to a property?".
  8. Add maintenance request (no requests on this property yet): opens a new maintenance request for the property. See the Maintenance chapter.
  9. Add notes (no notes yet).
  10. Add unit (buildings only).
  11. Delete or Archive: see "How do I archive, restore or delete a property?".

Good to know

Once something exists, its shortcut leaves the card and the matching tab's "+" button takes over. On an archived property the card shows only the lifecycle action. Without a subscription, actions that create something open the plan dialog instead.
