How do I set a new password from the reset email?

Any user who requested a reset.

Where to find it

Reset password button in the reset email.

Steps

  1. Click Reset password. Kera checks the link, then shows Reset your password.
  2. Enter the new password (at least 8 characters).
  3. Click Save.

What happens next

A "Password reset" message says "Sign in with your new password." and Kera opens the sign-in page. The old password no longer works.

Troubleshooting

  • "New password is a required field" or "New password must be at least 8 characters": enter a longer password.
  • "Choose a stronger password.": pick a less common password.
  • "Couldn't reset password" with "This reset link has expired or was already used. Request a new link and try again.": request a new link from Forgot password?.
