How do I @mention a teammate or tag a record in team chat?

Who can do this

Organization users, in internal conversations with teammates.

Where to find it

A team conversation → the message box ("Type a message… ( / to tag )").

Steps

Type @ and pick a teammate. The mention shows as a chip.
Type / → Tag entity → pick a type (Properties, Tenants, Owners, Leases, Maintenance, Vendors, Tasks) → search ("Type to search…") → pick the record.
Send. In the sent message, click a chip to open its menu.

What happens next

Every chip offers View <record>. Property chips also offer New maintenance request, Log expense and New lease. Lease chips offer Record rent payment and Add document. Maintenance chips offer Log expense.

Good to know

Menu items you don't have permission for are hidden. Without an active plan, they open the upgrade screen.

Limits

Mentions and record tags only work in internal team conversations, not with tenants or owners.
