How do I invite an owner to the owner portal?

Who can do this

Organization admins and members with Edit Owners. Needs an active subscription.

Where to find it

Owner → "Invite <First> to Kera" card.

Steps

  1. The card reads "<First> is not on Kera. Send an invite to keep them up-to-date."
  2. Select Invite <First> to Kera (or Re-invite <First> to Kera if already invited).

What happens next

The toast "Invitation sent — We emailed <email>." The status becomes "Invited". The owner gets an email "<Your name> invited you to Kera as a property owner" titled "View your properties on Kera", with an Accept invite button and three steps: Create your account, See your properties, Add your bank account. After they sign up with that email, their status becomes "Active", the card disappears and they see their linked properties (see the Owner portal chapter).

Troubleshooting

  • An owner with no email can't be invited; the button does nothing.
  • "Couldn't send invitation": try again.
  • "Invitation sent, but not recorded": the email went out. Refresh the page; don't send it again.
  • The owner must sign up with the same email address the invitation went to.
