How do I ask the tenant to pay the deposit online?

Who can do this

Landlord; Organization users with Create Transactions; Wallet set up.

Where to find it

Lease page → Actions → Deposit → Request it through Kera payments

Steps

Choose Request it through Kera payments.
Which deposit are you requesting?: type and amount.
Select Send deposit invoice.

What happens next

Toast Deposit invoice sent. The tenant gets "Your deposit invoice is ready". The deposit card shows the open invoice with Copy Payment Link. When the tenant pays, the deposit is recorded and held automatically.

Good to know

When online payments are set up at lease creation, Kera may create the deposit invoice when the tenant accepts.
