Where do I see notices my landlord served on me?

ForTenants

Who can do this

Every tenant on the lease.

Where to find it

Leases → the lease → Notices tab. Rent increases also show in Overview as Rent increase notice.

Steps

  1. Open the Notices tab. Each row shows the form, a status, "Served <date> · deemed received <date>" and the deadline (orange when urgent, struck through once passed).
  2. Click View notice for the notice PDF and View Certificate of Service for proof of service.
  3. For a rent increase, the Overview banner reads "Your rent is increasing to $X on <date>." Click View notice.

Good to know

Notices of entry, deposit statements ("Statement of account · Deposit"), move-in or move-out reports your landlord delivered, and BC's RTB-22 also list here. Notices your landlord drafted but didn't serve don't show. If you joined Kera after a notice was served, it appears once you verify your email.

Limits

Kera shows the notice and its dates; it doesn't give legal advice about your rights. Contact your provincial landlord and tenant board.
