How do I add, deactivate or reactivate a GL account?

Who can do this
Organization users with Edit Transactions (and Configure Accounting Settings).
Where to find it
Settings → Accounting → Chart of Accounts → View.
Steps
- Click Add Account. In New GL Account, enter GL Code, name, type, optional Parent Code and Description. Click Create.
- To retire an account, click Deactivate. "Account deactivated" offers Undo.
- Click Activate to bring it back.
What happens next
A deactivated account disappears from the General Ledger picker and journal entry account lists.
Troubleshooting
"An account with this GL code already exists. Use a different code."
Limits
Kera doesn't delete or rename GL accounts.
