How do I add a unit to a building?

Who can do this
Landlords, and Organization members with Create Properties. Needs an active subscription; counts toward a Landlord's unit limit.
Where to find it
Building → Actions → Add unit, or the empty Units tab → Add unit.
Steps
- Select Add unit.
- In "Add unit", enter Unit number and, optionally, Display name.
- Select Add unit.
What happens next
The dialog closes and the unit appears in the Units tab with a Create a lease button. The list row's unit count goes up.
Limits
Only buildings have units. To add units to a single-unit property, first make it multi-unit. Fill in parking, description and notes afterwards with the unit's Edit.
Troubleshooting
"Unit number is required"; "Unit <number> already exists on this property" (archived units count too). "Couldn't add unit": nothing was saved and your entries stay in the dialog. On an archived building, Add unit is disabled. Without a subscription or at the plan limit, the plan dialog opens instead.
