What tabs will I see in Settings?

ForLandlordsProperty managers

Who can do this

Everyone with a Kera account.

Where to find it

Account menu (your name at the top of the side navigation) → Settings.

Steps

  1. Click your name at the top of the side navigation to open the account menu.
  2. Click Settings. Settings opens on Profile.
  3. Pick a tab from the left-hand list. Click Back to Kera to close Settings.

What happens next

The tabs you see depend on your account type and, in an organization, on your role's permissions:

  • Landlord: Profile, Wallet, Notifications, Billing, Leases, Accounting, Knowledge Base, Integrations, Support, Migrate data, Tags.
  • Organization admin: Profile, Organization, Wallet, Notifications, Billing, Members, Roles & Permissions, Leases, Accounting, Integrations, Knowledge Base, Support, Migrate data, Tags.
  • Organization member with the default Employee role: Profile, Notifications, Members, Leases, Support, Migrate data.
  • Organization member with the default Guest role: Profile and Support.
  • Tenant: Profile, Payments, Notifications, Support.
  • Owner: Profile, Wallet, Notifications, Support.

Good to know

Each organization tab is tied to one permission (see "Which permission unlocks each Settings tab?"). A custom role sees exactly the tabs its permissions allow. Migrate data is also switched on per account by Kera; when it is missing for an account that should have it, the same import tool is available at the Import your data page (see "How do I import my portfolio from another system?").

Troubleshooting

If a member opens Settings from a shortcut elsewhere in Kera (for example Import with AI) for a tab their role can't use, Settings opens on Profile instead. While permissions are still loading, permission-gated tabs stay hidden for a moment rather than flashing. If a tab a member expects is missing, an admin should check the member's role in Roles & Permissions.
