What is the Documents page?
ForLandlordsProperty managers
Who can do this
Landlords, Organization admins, and Organization members whose role includes View Documents.
Where to find it
Side navigation → Documents (/landlord/documents).
Steps
- Open Documents from the side navigation.
- The page header shows the title Documents, a New button, and five view tabs: Files, Recent, Generated, Shared and Archived.
- Under the header, the toolbar has Filters and the sort menu on the left, and the storage figure ("<size> used") and the list/grid switch on the right.
- The content shows a Folders section and then a Files section. Each file row shows a type icon, the name, a badge where it applies (Generated, DocuSign or Archived), "<size> · Modified <MMM D, YYYY>" and a More actions (⋮) button.
What happens next
Nothing changes until you act. Files uploaded before folders existed are listed at the top level of Files.
Good to know
- Files is the folder browser. Recent lists files from every folder, most recently modified first. Generated lists files Kera created. Shared lists what you've shared with owners. Archived lists archived files and folders.
- With no documents and no folders, the page shows "Every lease and notice, findable in seconds" with an Upload files button.
- More than one page of files shows Previous / Next under the list.
Limits
There is no search box on the Documents page and no folder tree or breadcrumbs. Use the app's global search to find a file by name (see "How do I find a document by name?").
