What fees does Kera charge on online payments?

Shown in the lease's payment setup, the tenant's pay page and the invoice composer.

Steps

  1. Card payments: Stripe's processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per payment.
  2. Pre-authorized bank debit: a flat $5 per payment.
  3. On each lease the manager chooses Who pays the transaction fee?: The tenant or Me. When the tenant pays it, the tenant's pay page adds a Transaction Fee line to the total. Card uses the percentage fee; bank debit uses the flat fee.
  4. Business invoices (chapter 09) with Accept online payments on show: "Card payments include Stripe's standard processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30, deducted from the amount you receive. Kera adds no fee of its own."
  5. Wallet payouts to your own bank: Standard has no fee and arrives in 2 to 3 business days. Instant (only on debit cards or accounts that support it) costs 1%, minimum $0.60 CAD, and arrives within minutes.

Limits
