How do I upload files straight onto a property and share them with its owners?

Who can do this

Landlords, Organization admins, members with Upload Documents.

Where to find it

Documents filtered to one property (Filters → Property, or Open in Documents from the property's Documents section).

Steps

  1. Filter Documents to exactly one property.
  2. Drag files onto the page. The "Upload <n> file(s)" dialog opens.
  3. Leave Link to <property> on to link the files to the property, and Share with property owners on so every owner of the property can view and download them. Turn either off if you don't want it.
  4. Select Upload.

What happens next

Linked and shared files appear for that property's owners in their portal's Documents page.

Good to know

Turning Link to <property> off hides the sharing switch; files upload unlinked and unshared. With no property filter, or more than one property, no dialog appears.

Troubleshooting

"Uploaded, but not shared with the property's owners. Share it from its details." The file is kept; share it manually.
