How do I unlink a document from a lease?

Who can do this

Landlords, Organization admins, members with Edit Documents.

Where to find it

Leases → <lease> → Documents → row Actions (⋮) → Unlink from lease.

Steps

Choose Unlink from lease.

What happens next

It happens straight away, with the toast "Document unlinked from this lease" and an Undo button. The document stays in Documents.

Good to know

The row menu also offers Open, Download, Edit, Archive and Delete. On an archived lease, rows offer only Open and Download. Generated files on a lease (served notices, signed agreements) have no Edit, Delete or Unlink from lease.

Troubleshooting

"Couldn't unlink document" shows the reason.
