How do I replace the lease agreement PDF on a lease?

Who can do this

Landlords, Organization admins, members who can create or edit leases.

Where to find it

Leases → <lease> → the lease document row.

Steps

Select Remove lease document (X). The toast reads "Lease document removed".
Select Upload lease document, choose a PDF, then Save document.

What happens next

"Lease document uploaded" and the new filename shows.

Limits

The lease document must be a PDF (up to 25 MB). Replacing the file doesn't send it for signature; to collect signatures, edit the lease (see "How do I send a lease for signature after it's been saved?").

Troubleshooting

"Cancel the signing request first" / "This lease has a signing request in progress. Cancel it before uploading a replacement document." The document is locked while a signing request is live. Cancel the request (see "How do I cancel a signing request?"), then replace it.
"Changing a lease document needs permission to create or edit leases…" Ask an admin to add that permission.
On an archived lease the filename shows as plain text with no controls.
