How do I take applications for a single-unit property?

Who can do this
Landlords, and Organization members with Edit Properties (others see the switch greyed out with "You don't have permission to edit properties").
Where to find it
Property → Application card.
Steps
- Turn on Open for tenant application. The toast "Applications opened" confirms it.
- The card now shows "Application link:" with the public link. Select Copy link ("Application link copied") and share it with applicants, for example in a listing.
- To stop taking applications, turn the switch off ("Applications closed").
What happens next
Anyone with the link can apply without a Kera account. Applications arrive in the Applications list (see the Applications and screening chapter). When closed, the link shows "This property is not currently accepting applications".
Good to know
For a building, open each unit for applications from the unit's page (see "How do I take applications for a unit?").
Limits
Kera doesn't post the link to rental listing sites. Paste it into your own listings.
Troubleshooting
"Couldn't copy link — Your browser blocked the clipboard. Select the link and copy it yourself." "Couldn't open applications" / "Couldn't close applications": the change didn't save; try again.
