The rent increase composer on a Newfoundland and Labrador lease.
Steps
- Enter the new rent and an effective date on the lease's rent day, at least about 6 months out.
- Choose Kera fills in Landlord's Notice to Increase Rent (RT-2018-00050) → Continue → Create notice.
- Sign notice: sign in the Landlord Signature box and save.
- Serve it.
What happens next
The PDF is the government's two-page form with the tenant names, landlord name, address, the monthly increase and effective date, the new rent and the date.
Good to know
An organization serving for an owner: the landlord name reads "<owner> (by <organization>, agent)".
