How do I stop sharing a file with an owner?

Who can do this
Landlords, Organization admins, members with Edit Documents.
Where to find it
Documents → item → Share.
Steps
- Open the item's own Share (not the bulk bar).
- Remove the property or owner.
- Select Save.
What happens next
The owner loses access. If nothing is left, the Sharing section reads "Only your team can see this. Share it to give owners access."
Good to know
If the access comes from a folder, change it on that folder, or move the file out of the folder. Archiving a file also hides it from owners until it's restored.
Troubleshooting
If an owner still sees a file after you unshared it and they reload the page, escalate to Kera support with the file name, the owner and the time.
