Steps
- Choose Landlord if one person manages their own rentals and doesn't need staff logins, owner statements or trust accounting for other people's money.
- Choose Property Manager if a business manages properties for owners, needs more than one staff login, or needs owner statements, management fees and trust safeguards.
What happens next
Choosing Property Manager creates a new organization with you as its admin and takes you to Tell us about your organization. Choosing Landlord goes straight to Welcome to Kera 👋.
Good to know
Staff who are joining an existing company should not sign up on their own. They should ask their organization admin for an invitation (see "How do I join my company's organization on Kera?"). Signing up as Property Manager creates a separate, empty organization.
Limits
A Landlord account can't be converted into an Organization later, and its data can't be moved into an organization from the app. Contact Kera support (support@getkera.com) if this is needed.
