How does a tenant set up pre-authorized debit from a bank account?

Tenant (Canadian bank accounts).
Where to find it
Settings → Payments → Add a payment method → Pre-authorized.
Steps
- Choose Pre-authorized.
- Click Login to bank account and sign in to your bank in the secure Stripe window.
- Read and accept the pre-authorized debit agreement.
What happens next
The bank account is listed as Connected and can be used to pay rent.
Limits
Pre-authorized debit uses Canadian bank accounts. Kera doesn't offer US bank debit (ACH); US tenants pay by card.
Troubleshooting
Couldn't add bank account: the bank connection or agreement didn't complete; try again.
