As a manager, how do I choose which notifications I get?

ForLandlordsProperty managers

Who can do this

Landlords and Organization users with Manage Notification Settings.

Where to find it

Account menu → Settings → Notifications ("Manage your notification preferences").

Steps

  1. Each row has an Email and an In-app switch. Changes save at once.
  2. Manager groups: Rent (Payment Failed, Payment Succeeded, Invoice Paid, Payment Action Required, Rent Overdue, Weekly Rent Check-in), Leases (Tenant Accepted, Termination Initiated, Lease Terminated, Lease Ending Task Activated, Notice Consent Changed), Signing (New Signature Request, Signing Complete, Signature Added, Signer Declined, Request Expired, Request Expiring Soon), Maintenance (New Request Submitted, Assigned To You, Reassigned Away From You, Update On Your Request), Applications (New Application Received), Screening (Screening report ready, Screening failed), Messages (New Message Received), Owner Statements (Statement Sent to Owner), Trust Accounting (Trust Balance Discrepancy), Bank Feed (E-transfer Matches, E-transfer Payment Report, Bank Reconnect Required), Bills & Payments (Bill Approval Required, Distribution Approval Required), Security Deposits (Deposit Returned, Deposit Applied to Rent, Billing Change Blocked), Onboarding (Welcome Email) and Product updates (New Features & Releases, email only; Tips & Reminders).

What happens next

Turning In-app off stops the bell entry but not the email, and the other way round.

Good to know

Tenant and owner preferences are listed in their sections above.

Limits

Notifications sent to the whole organization (not to you personally) ignore a member's own switches. Turning off "Notice Consent Changed" doesn't stop the alert when a tenant turns email notices off, because you need it to serve notices correctly.
